Donate a Big Game Tag!

Partnering with the Wyoming Game and Fish, and using their Licensing for Veterans donated license program — a program that allows anyone to donate a big game license to be reissued to a disabled veteran — Vet Healing Adventures matches veterans with a license, guide service, rifles and other gear, some game processing and room and board if required.

Vet Application

Fill in and submit the form below or click here for a PDF application.

Thank you for your interest in a Vet Healing Adventure. Before you complete the Application, please read this information, and acknowledge that you understand these terms.

You will need a copy of your VA Disability Summary Letter dated within the past 4 years to complete your application. If you need to update your Summary Letter, please visit https://www.va.gov/records/download-va-letters/.

Vet Healing Adventures welcomes veterans from all eras, and all 50 states. We prioritize veterans on a case-by-case review from our selection board. Completing this Application does not guarantee an adventure with Vet Healing Adventures.

The only firm criteria to participate in our program is the veteran must have a VA certified service-connected disability rating of at least 50%. If you have any special needs, we can likely work around them, If we know about them in advance.

We ask veterans to get to and from the hunt site in Wyoming on their own if possible. If there is a hardship, please let us know as there can be travel assistance available, depending on the candidate and financial ability of Vet Healing Adventures. We are here to facilitate.

We take care of everything while we have you with us—rooms, meals, license, guide services, rifles and other gear (you are welcome to use your own rifle/gear) and some game processing. We cover basic processing for antelope and deer. If you prefer specialty processing like sausage or jerky, you will be responsible for those costs. We don’t pay for elk, big horn sheep, moose, etc. processing. We don’t pay for any taxidermy or meat shipping.

If you decide to pursue a hunt with us, please understand there may be some minimal cost associated with your adventure.
